INSTITUTE OF ECONOMICS at the University of Information Technology and Management – founded in January 2001, is an independent academic research center. The Institute cooperates with Polish institutions (such as the Centrum Analiz Społeczno-Ekonomicznych in Warsaw and Warszawska Grupa Inwestycyjna) as well as international organizations (Centre for International Research on Economic Tendency Surveys CIRET, headquartered in Switzerland, Global Development Network GDNet., Ifo Institute for Economic Research in Munich, and the Bureau for Investments and Economic Cycles LCC, headquartered in New York).
